Saturday sport chaos in full swing. I love and loath this season of life. It’s fun chasing the kids around, watching them do what they love. But I do miss the carefree days of summer with nothing to do.

We don’t have a sport free weekend until mid July and that’s a hard pill to swallow at times.

Managing the schedules, booking the tournament hotels, staying on top of back to school night babysitters, paying bills and your full time job obligations on top of the heaviness that the internet and news is these days?

Hi 👋 I’m Sarah, a personal trainer, fitness and nutrition coach who has been in the wellness space for over 20 years.

As a former party girl and cardio junkie , I was always trying to lose the same 5 to 10 pounds through restriction and extreme exercise. I taught at a fancy Bootcamp studio and was constantly trying to burn more calories and eat less to lose weight.

wanna know it actually helped me look and feel my best?

A combination of cardio two days a week as well as progressive strength training three days a week with a little Pilates dabbled in is what helped me feel my best.

Ditching the random group exercise classes helped me finally build the muscle. I also learned how to actually eat! No longer was a trying to eat less, but trying to hit my personal targets. This combination helped me fire up my metabolism.
