Wai’anapanapa State Park is hands down one of the most iconic stops on the Road to Hana. Once you see it, you’ll understand why. This was a total bucket list moment for me. That black sand beach against the bright turquoise water? Even more stunning in real life. Just a heads up, this is one stop you have to plan ahead for. Reservations are required and they don’t offer same-day entry, so be sure to book in advance! It’s one of those places that feels a little wild, a little magical, and completely unforgettable.
