What’s your favorite garden-fresh veggie? 🌱
I don’t usually plant until early April, but the weather has been so nice that I figured I should at least get the garden cleaned out and ready.

I’m thinking about keeping it simple this year and filling most of it with tomatoes and peppers since that’s what we actually eat the most. I love growing cucumbers too, but the last two years they’ve been so bitter I’m starting to take it personally. 😆

It’s been a year since we added this little wisteria wonderland to my daughter’s room, and I swear it still feels just as magical as the day we hung it up.

Girls just want to have fun — and that’s exactly what we did this weekend. 💕

With our Magic Keys set to expire soon and still undecided on renewing, we decided to squeeze in one last trip. We drove down Thursday night, played a little hooky from school on Friday (shhh 🤫), and soaked up the kind of weekend that reminds you how special these moments really are.

There was lots of eating, lots of shopping, and so many laughs — but my favorite part was the extra one-on-one time. Just me and my girl, no rushing, no schedules, just being together and making memories. Those are the moments I’ll always hold onto.

It was the perfect break from the January doldrums. The weather was beautiful, we even snuck in some pool time, and everything felt easy and fun.

We also scored a last-minute deal at the Disney Villas. I booked a “duo” room without realizing it was supposed to be tiny, but it worked in our favor when we ended up with a complimentary upgrade. The room was beautiful and even had a small kitchenette.

Do you have a Christmas pickle? We’ve always had a one on our tree. When the kids were younger, we’d take turns re-hiding the ornament in the branches and spend the whole season re-finding it.

You just can’t get that nostalgic glow from LEDs. This year, I finally broke down and bought colorful incandescent lights to give my tree that warm, cozy glow I remember from childhood. Although, we did use a twinkling strand of LEDs as well to give it that extra pizzazz. (My husband and kids like twinkle)

I know it may not be the most aesthetic, Instagram-perfect tree, but it’s full of warmth, color, and memories, and that’s all that matters.
