You just can’t get that nostalgic glow from LEDs. This year, I finally broke down and bought colorful incandescent lights to give my tree that warm, cozy glow I remember from childhood. Although, we did use a twinkling strand of LEDs as well to give it that extra pizzazz. (My husband and kids like twinkle) I know it may not be the most aesthetic, Instagram-perfect tree, but it’s full of warmth, color, and memories, and that’s all that matters.
