Otto’s room had almost no storage, so we just kept stuff sort of pushed against the walls on the floor. 🤦‍♀️ Until I had an idea. We also didn't use his closet at all, but I found a really simple $129 closet system and my friend's husband helped install it 🙏❤️. He custom fit it into this kind of funky old closet, even working around the original angled shoe shelf (we have them in almost all our closets). We didn’t need the top part of the shelf unit, or the other bars that it came with, but we even got an extra bar out of it that I’ve been hanging Lucy‘s summer dresses on.  He’s a 7-year-old boy so he doesn’t have any clothes that need to go in the closet, but now we have room for all his books and toys that we totally didn't before.
