I never really considered painting it cause it’s sooo much work, and I couldn’t commit to that big of a change to an old house. But it’s not my favorite wood color and I never really loved it. But the other day I was daydreaming about decorating a new house and I felt a little sad to think of not having the original wood trim anchoring things. I even think it works well with some dark antique wood pieces, nothing is too overpowering or dusty old lady. Here’s to blooming where you’re planted, I guess?? LTKHome
