On Wednesdays we wear pink & barbell cycle! 💖🏋🏽‍♀️

To barbell cycle do 5 reps of 5 different exercises (yes, I did 6 🙃) without putting the bar down
It’s a great full body workout & you can remix it with whatever moves you want!

This barbell cycle:
5️⃣ Deadlifts
5️⃣ Hang Cleans
5️⃣ Push Press
5️⃣ Back Squats
5️⃣ Good Mornings
5️⃣ Bent Rows
The goal is 10 rounds in 30mins or less, so the weight should NOT be heavy!

When I first started going to the gym I looked at it like a job you hate:

I got tired of my tight/ weak hips holding me back!
Doing these stretches before & after every leg day, & these hip flexor exercises I’ve had less stiffness in my lower back, increased range of motion when lifting & I don’t walk like a cartoon character 😅

I love lifting weights & strength training 💪🏽 but we can’t forget about functional training! The little muscles we don’t support the big muscles we focus on!

For me, adding weight reminds me to engage my core while doing the exercises, otherwise I was just going through the motions 🫠
I started off with a 10lb plate & have worked my way up to 25lbs 💪🏽
