1. Oversized Button-Up

My favorite capsule wardrobe outfit multiplier. She moonlights as a top, layering piece, swimsuit cover-up, and light jacket.

2. Long Loose Skirt

Breathable. Wrinkle-resistant. Gelato-gut friendly. She makes it look like you tried harder than you did.

3. Soft Jeans

Works with every shoe in your suitcase, doesn’t stretch out by noon, and feels suspiciously close to pajama pants.

4. Fit-and-Flare Dress

She’s an outfit. Add sneakers for sightseeing. Add a scarf for dinner. Same dress. Different agenda.

5. Large Square Scarf

The most overqualified piece in my suitcase. Hair accessory, shawl, belt, bag accessory, top, and emergency outfit fixer.

6. Wrinkle-Free Pants

There’s a reason she’s viral. Wrinkle-free, comfortable, multiple lengths, multiple colors, and somehow still manages to look pulled together after a transatlantic flight.

Cotton gauze is the only thing I’ve wanted to wear since we landed and my Quince skirt and dress have been on repeat. Cool, packable, wrinkle free, and honestly looks more like what the locals are wearing than anything linen. Added bonus, it hides a tortellini tummy and gelato gut that are completely unavoidable here. These are my gauze favorites all under $60.

So far the only thing I regret packing is my straw bucket hat. It would have been easier and more fun to buy a hat here. Although, my classic Ralph Lauren baseball cap has been a huge hit. It looks sporty and chic with my adidas sneakers, Gucci shorts, and Spanx travel set. So far I’ve only worn two of the 3 pairs of shoes I brought, but I’ve been tempted to purchase about 100 more! If you love shoes and don’t have any will powder I do not recommend a trip to Italy. My Quince wrinkle free gauze skirt and dress have been the biggest hit. They are cool and look a lot more like what the locals are wearing. Added bonus they hide a tortellini tummy and gelato gut that are in avoidable here.

There is a beautiful mural of a famous luxury ocean inside that reinforces Prada’s heritage as a luxury luggage and travel-goods house founded in 1913. The black and white marble floors have been preserved beautifully and are the perfect backdrop to the stunning selection.

Prada’s Galleria small Saffiano leather bag was named after this location. Saffiano goat leather is so durable and practically indestructible. Making it the perfect choice if like me you don’t save your nice things for special occasions.
