We are one of the last nations standing where freedom and Christianity has a powerful voice. Our generation have a choice: bow to culture or stand for something bigger than ourselves. We choose God, our Savior and King. We choose family, marriages and the value of the family unit. We choose freedom. We choose America. Never forget. Somewhere along the way, we started believing the answer to stress was at the bottom of a glass. 🍷 And don't get me wrong, I still occasionally have a drink but I have learned too much from interviewing experts on my podcast about what alcohol actually does in your system to make it that appealing anymore.😅

From what I've learned, we do not NEED a drink when stressed, that's the opposite of what we need. Drinking alcohol depletes your B vitamins which are crucial for mood stabilization. It depletes magnesium, your CALMING mineral. It depletes sodium and potassium... your adrenals NEED these electrolytes. And most moms are already stressed and have taxed adrenals without alcohol.🫠

Most days, your body is actually asking for something much simpler: movement, protein, prayer, sunshine, hydration, or rest.

Before you pour the drink... try meeting one of your body's actual needs first. You might be surprised how much better you feel!!🤍

I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately.

How many times have we prayed for more purpose, more freedom, more opportunity... and then when something new showed up, immediately started listing all the reasons we probably shouldn’t do it? 😂

What if I’m not good at it?
What if I don’t have time?
What will people think?
What if it doesn’t work?

I’ve learned the next step doesn’t always arrive looking like the answer we pictured.

Sometimes it just looks like an opportunity we have to be willing to explore.

MAKE was one of those unexpected yeses for me.

I didn’t know exactly what it would become. I knew I loved what I was using, believed in what I was sharing and decided it was worth finding out.

I’m really glad I did.

So maybe the question isn’t always, “Do I know this will work?”

Maybe it’s, “Is it worth finding out?”

😅 Contrary to popular belief, I didn't wake up one day and decide it would be fun to read ingredient labels, filter my water, ditch plastic, research every product, and spend my free time learning about health.

I used to think burnout meant I needed a vacation.

Sometimes I did.
