3 ingredients + basically impossible to mess up = my kind of dessert. 😂🍦

Made this with my little taste tester and it could NOT be easier. Save it for your next birthday, cookout or “Mom, we need dessert” moment. 🤍 One of my boys specifically requested this for his birthday and it's now going on my "I don't like to bake or cook but this still makes me look like a winner rotation." 😉

3-Ingredient Ice Cream Cake
🍦 Ice cream sandwiches
🤍 Whipped topping of choice
🍪Chocolate sandwich cookies — I used a cleaner-ingredient option (or use your fave candy bar etc)
Optional: chocolate syrup

Layer it lasagna-style: ice cream sandwiches → whipped topping → crushed cookies. Repeat. Freeze until ready to serve + DONE. 🙌

And you can easily lighten this one up by choosing lower-sugar ice cream sandwiches + a lighter/cleaner whipped topping and cookies.

This is one of my GO TO easy no cook recipes I return to over and over again.

2 cans of chickpeas
1 bag of celery
1/8 of a cup of stone ground dijon mustard
1/8 of a cup of olive oil
Combine it all in a glass container and shake up to enjoy. Store it in the fridge and then you've got a few days lunch ready to go!

The 1 thing most women get wrong? 👇🏻

They see the scale go up 3 pounds and immediately assume it's fat. 😩

Friend, give yourself some grace.

Most of the time it's not a fat problem. The culprit is usually one of these things...

Stress.
Inflammation.
Poor sleep.
PMS.
Travel.
Constipation.
Hydration.
Hormones.

The scale is often measuring symptoms...not the root cause.

That's one reason I love the Sunday Reset. Every week it gives me a chance to zoom out and ask:

Here’s the problem...👇🏻

Too many people (gulp...especially Christians) view healthy living as JUST vanity & weight loss! 🙊

But it’s soooo much more! We are caring for the temple God gave us, a home for the Holy Spirit. 🤯

One thing I unpack a lot in my book The Sunday Reset is how so many in the church think that you shouldn’t be so focused on your physical health... & somehow think it has NOTHING to do with your overall wellbeing (mind body AND spirit!)

But yet at the same time, those same believers are focused on & struggling with preventable disease, cardiac issues, being able to keep up with their kids, diabetes, obesity or being malnourished, body image, lack of confidence, lack of energy, addiction, opting for short cuts in their health that actually waste AWAY their muscle with fat & have many side effects. 😫😫😫

If you’re worried about those extra 15 pounds you’re hanging on to but you’re not worried about addressing the constant cycle of anxiety you’re stuck in, isolation from Biblical community, or “never having time for God’s Word”, there’s some space to grow deeper here too. And yes, I still struggle daily as well! #humanprobs 🥴 Thank you Jesus that your mercies are new every morning!!

Anyone else or just my kids?!? 💸😅

The Brown house occasionally takes on a $40/week grocery budget challenge.

Is it glamorous? No.

Does it mean leftovers, random pantry meals, and suddenly deciding that food we "don't like" is actually pretty good? Absolutely. 😂

But one thing it's taught us is how much money (and food) we waste when we don't have a plan.

It’s probably apparent by now that I think a little differently. 🤍

Would you add anything to this list?

I don't want more AI, flock cameras, and distance between what I want in life and reality because of the million dings each day coming to my devices.

I am working towards red light on my phone screen at night, putting my phone away and on DND more, taking Sundays off as much as possible from my phone and giving up my smart watch except for rare occasions.

Give me back the simplicity of the 90's and the real food from our farmers back in the day. Whose with me?! Let's disrupt the conveneince and distraction and LIVE on PURPOSE, shall we girl gang?!

God knew what He was doing...the healthiest life is usually the simplest one.

Sunshine, movement, sleep, prayer, real food, community, and rest aren't "old-fashioned"... they're part of God's design.

And yes... sometimes that stewardship also means using tools that support your body, not replace healthy rhythms.

That's one of the reasons I've loved adding natural peptides to my routine. They don't replace the foundations; they help support them.

More stewardship.
