Day 2 in Cartagena felt like the city slowly revealing itself to us. We started the morning walking along Bocagrande, watching the Caribbean roll in while the city woke up around us. By the afternoon we were back inside the Walled City, wandering into Plaza Santo Domingo where the streets feel like an open-air museum — music, art, colors everywhere. And somehow we ended up back on the walls for sunset again… because once you see Cartagena from El Baluarte, it’s impossible not to come back. The sky turns pink, the breeze picks up, and the whole city glows. We finished the night getting lost in the cobblestone streets of the Walled City, the kind of wandering that makes you fall a little more in love with a place. Cartagena really knows how to hold you.
