i’m so nosey about other people’s routines… so I thought it would be fun to peek LIVE into mine today 👀

i’m 40 now, and i’ve realized i don’t actually stick to things unless they make my life feel easier… or better in some way.

i also don’t like to over-consume, so everything in my drawers has to be easy, clean, and effective
(still working on swapping more of my makeup, but we’re getting there!)

once I find things I love, it’s AUTOPILOT BABY I can just lean into my routines and know I’m doing everything I can for that perfect sleep score and being pretty inside and out.

I’m lucky being a wellness content creator because I get to test a lot of products I might not have found otherwise… but trust me when I say only a small % stay in my rotation!

Low tox, but make it easy and cute

Some of the best swaps I have made are not even products marketed as “low tox.” They are just better choices that helped me lower my overall daily load.

That is the part people miss…. It is NOT about being perfect 24/7. It is about reducing the DAILY exposures so your body has a little more breathing room.

Because yes, sometimes I still want the Diet Coke. Sometimes I still want the Botox. And I am okay with that. When my everyday routine is clean, my body allows for some fun, but if I’m already at my limit, that’s when the wheels fall off.

My Function Health labs results showed my biological age at 26 even though I’m 40, and I truly think lowering my toxic load has played a role in that. (Along with a great sleep routine, supplements, and a few other things, let me know if you want that full list)

Best Tip: Start with what touches your body the most, like body lotion, detergent, and sheets.

My morning routine between 5 AM and 9 AM as a wellness girly in my 40s, trying to feel younger than ever ☺️

I start out with my red light therapy panel and habit stack it with my vibration plate.

Then it’s pre-workout and creatine and a protein bar before the gym

At the gym, I do 1 mile at a four incline on the treadmill and then I do 30 to 40 minutes of weightlifting

After that, I do my morning supplements and make my high protein breakfast

And I end the morning with my PEMF Matt for recovery and doing some reading always a non-fiction or personal development book

Nobody wants to say it out loud, but we all feel it: What worked at 30 literally does not work at 40.

I could skip sleep, ignore my hormones, eat whatever during a busy week, drink a tiny bit too much, and somehow still feel relatively ok?  My body covered for me.

But in my 40’s? Yeah… no.
 The “just push through” era is over…for ALL of us elder millennials.
And instead of sticking my head in the sand and pretending it’s not happening… I’m adjusting.

Because I fully believe my 40’s will be my most powerful, hot, vibrant decade,  but only if I stop treating my body like I’m still 29.

Now: I take my sleep seriously. I take my hormones seriously. I take my peace seriously.

Feeling good isn’t optional anymore - it’s the whole point. And honestly? Once you stop fighting it, and make it a small part of your daily routine, taking care of yourself actually gets easier.
