Nobody wants to say it out loud, but we all feel it: What worked at 30 literally does not work at 40. I could skip sleep, ignore my hormones, eat whatever during a busy week, drink a tiny bit too much, and somehow still feel relatively ok? My body covered for me. But in my 40’s? Yeah… no. The “just push through” era is over…for ALL of us elder millennials. And instead of sticking my head in the sand and pretending it’s not happening… I’m adjusting. Because I fully believe my 40’s will be my most powerful, hot, vibrant decade, but only if I stop treating my body like I’m still 29. Now: I take my sleep seriously. I take my hormones seriously. I take my peace seriously. Feeling good isn’t optional anymore - it’s the whole point. And honestly?
