My most saved easy eyeshadow technique to lift sagging eyelids and make your eyes look open and sparkling 👁️

Take a q-tip and an eye stencil (you can use a business card or folded tissue if you dont have a stencil). I am using @NatashaDenona “I need a nude” eyeshadow palette.

Step 1. Take the darker brown or dark gray matte shadow on a q-tip and make a dotted line from outer corner of the 👁️ towards the outer end of the eyebrow. About 45 degree angle to lift the eyes. For most of us, the eyes start drooping down after 50 so it is important to lift the outer corners.

Step 2. Take a lighter brown or gray matte shadow (whichever tone works best for your skin and coloring) and create another dotted line next to the first. Then create two large dots in the middle above the crease and above the inner corner if you have sagging there, like me.

Step 3. Blend well keeping the stencil so the shadows don’t spill down drugging the face down.

Step 4. With a clean q-tip take a shimmery shadow - I like gold or champagne but see which shimmer works best for you. If your skin undertone is cold, try silver shimmer. Place the shimmer in the inner corner of the eye and half way to the middle of mobile lid. Don’t drug it up. Upper lid should always be matte, otherwise the sagging will look worse.

Step 5. Withe a thin brush and dark brown shadow outline the outer corner bringing it 45 degree up - see my other video on how to outline mature eyes. Alternatively, use an eye liner in any color you prefer but it should work with your shadow colors of course.

Step 6. Finally blend the corners slightly with clean brush so it looks more natural.

Simple steps to help your makeup stay on much longer, even in the heat:

✨ Skip heavy moisturizer and use lightweight hydration instead.
✨ Swap foundation for a tinted SPF or tinted moisturizer.

I found 30 modern summer outfits on Pinterest that I know I can recreate with pieces I already own, so I’m recreating every single one.

If you never know what to wear in summer, follow this series. By the end, you’ll have 30 easy outfit formulas you can recreate from your own closet.

Outfit Formula #1 is built around a white midi skirt (cotton, poplin, or satin) paired with a fitted sleeveless waistcoat. It’s a simple combination that looks polished with very little effort.

Watching women like Grece reminds me why I need to keep showing up for my workouts, even on the days I don’t feel like it.

I don’t exercise to fit someone else’s idea of how women over 50 should look. I do it because it gives me strength, protects my mobility, supports my bones, and gives me the confidence to wear whatever makes me feel good. I work out at home when I don’t feel like going to the gym. It is easy to follow workouts online although working out is never easy for me :)

What is wrong with the look on the left?
1. Wrong proportions - the tee and the skirt hem cut the body in wide unflattering places.
2. Outdated pieces - bag and sneakers scream old.

I am fixing the look by switching the skirt to more flattering and current one, changing the bag and the footwear lightening the look.

You can keep the tee but tuck it or half tuck it to highlight the waist.
Another change i made is wearing mild compression underwear to tone the body further.

I love natural skincare but I avoid products made of seed oils because they tend to oxidize much easily than animal fats. Oxidation creates free radicals causing inflammation in skin and other tissues and pigmentation. That is why I don’t use vegetable oils in cokking with heat or in my skincare, even though with preservatives added to most skincare, those oils are more stable. but why risk it when you have perfect natural tallow based products available? Sagging jawline? Here’s a simple makeup trick I use to make mine look more defined.

First, apply contour over the jawline—not in the indentation. Add a little under the jaw and under the chin to create shadow where you want things to recede.

Next, take a concealer that’s one shade lighter than your skin and apply it directly into the indentation. We’re using the theory of light and dark: dark shades push areas back, while lighter shades bring them forward.

Then extend the concealer from the corner of your mouth toward your ear, just below the cheekbone. This helps create a more sculpted look and visually lifts the lower face.

Blend everything well, set with a light dusting of powder, and finish with setting spray.

No, it won’t replace a facelift—but it can make a surprising difference in a few minutes.

I want to stay strong enough to travel, carry my own groceries, climb stairs, get up from the floor, get up from the toilet without assistance, and keep living life on my own terms for as long as possible. Smile lines aging you? Here’s a simple makeup trick that uses the principle of light and shadow.

When a line or indentation is deep, adding light can help soften its appearance. That’s why I apply a matte highlighter directly into the smile line before concealer.

My steps:

✨ Multi-balm first to hydrate the area and help prevent creasing and caking

✨ Matte highlighter to brighten the indentation

✨ Concealer that’s slightly lighter than your skin tone. Wait a couple minutes for concealer to set before blending

✨ Brightening or translucent powder to set

✨ Finishing spray to lock everything in place

I used Ilia Beauty Cornstarch Powder, but any good setting powder can work.
