These little water table hacks changed everything for us last summer and I’m so excited to use it all again now that the weather is finally warming up!

Before I made these changes, my kids would kinda play with the water table for a few minutes then get tired of it and move on.

Or it would just sit and get dirty water in it and became more of a chore than entertainment or something that actually occupied them for more than 3 seconds… which is what I NEED it to be for me.

So what did we do? 4 things made all the difference:

☀️We added a water pump to the table! This allows water to move from the top to the bottom and back up again. Making it wayyyyy more fun and interactive.

🐳We got a light up whale toy that squirts water and floats! My kids love this and we had to get an extra one for the bath.

🐠We got several mold free toy sets for them to play with so they can switch out the theme of the table from sea animals to boats to Toy Story characters.

🦀We got a cover for it! The biggest game changer of all! 🙌🏻 This helps reduce the number of times I need to empty the water or clean it out and keeps the rain and bugs out of it.

Next time you’re at the grocery, grab that bag and look at the fine print. You aren't just getting cheddar… you’re getting cellulose (which is basically refined wood pulp) and corn or potato starch. Not to mention the mold inhibitors (natamycin). 🤮

Manufacturers literally dust the cheese in that stuff just to keep it from clumping together in the bag. Obedience isn’t always what we expect it to be.

It’s easy to imagine biblical motherhood as peaceful mornings, warm coffee, and uninterrupted quiet time.

But for most of us?

Faith-filled motherhood looks like reading one paragraph of Scripture at a time between snack requests.

It looks like praying while unloading the dishwasher.
It looks like choosing a gospel-centered home even when the house feels chaotic.

For the Christian mama, obedience doesn’t always feel spiritual.

Sometimes it feels ordinary.
Sometimes it feels unseen.
Sometimes it feels like showing up to your Bible study for moms with tired eyes and a messy bun.

But every time you open your Bible instead of your phone…

Every time you whisper a prayer over your children…

Every time you choose patience when you want to snap…

You are building a Christ-centered home.

You are practicing biblical motherhood.

You are becoming a Titus 2 woman in real time.

Raising godly kids doesn’t start with perfection — it starts with a praying mom who keeps choosing faith over feelings.

My husband bought me this Bible for Christmas when I mentioned I wanted a study Bible with more context.

I was SOOOOO AFRAID to use highlighters in my Bible until I found these.💕

Certain colors are darker than others so my favorite Bible highlighters are the light green and light purplish/pink from this specific set.

Both highlighters have done amazing in my coloring Bible because its pages seem a little thicker than most Bibles anyway.

I can’t say how these would do on a Bible with tissue paper thin pages. But they work great on mine.💕

I use those highlighters and a pencil and sticky notes in my Bible and so far it’s held up great.📖
