Did you all know about this? Take it from the girl who just had to replace her entire shower for almost $10k because of mold. I was also recently allergy tested (it had been 10 years since my last round) and my doctor said I was severely allergic to a couple types of mold. She told me to get a humidity meter to see how humid my bathrooms and bedrooms were and to get a dehumidifier if they were above 50% because DID YOU KNOW mold spores can apparently grow and survive in room air that is above 50% humidity?! I had no idea!🤯 So sure enough I check my bathroom and even when the shower hasn’t been used recently, and the fan is running, it stays about 55-58%. So after spending almost $10k on a new shower because we found mold and had a water leak… and now knowing how easily mold can grow… I’m not playing around.🙅🏻‍♀️ I have been running this dehumidifier nonstop and we will be checking the humidity daily until further notice.
