“How are you recovering?” Very well. I love this part of marathon training…the time off from running and exercise in general. The fluidity, less structure. For me, it tends to mean a little more sleep and “play.” I also think it’s a good indication of what my relationship with running is. One that I want for as long as I can which means taking time away from it. And while my body feels 100%, I also know on a cellular level this body needs a break. We call this ✨science.
