soup season is here & loaded potato is one of my all-time favorites for fall🥔🥓topped with all the fixings- it’s insanely tasty! linked all my favorite kitchen items used so you can make it too! made in one pot for easy cleanup! Ingredients: - 1 medium yellow onion, diced - 4-5 cloves garlic, minced - 1 package bacon, cut into small pieces - 2 lbs gold potatoes, peeled and diced - 4 cups chicken broth - 1/3 cup heavy cream & 2/3 cup half and half (can just use heavy cream or substitute milk) - 2 tsp onion powder, 2 tsp garlic powder, 2 tap paprika, 1 tsp chili powder, 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional) - salt & pepper to taste - 2 tbsp sour cream *top with: - freshly grated cheddar cheese - bacon bits - green onion - serve with toasted & buttered bread add the potatoes- lid on & simmer for 10-15 minutes until they are tender. remove half and blend what’s remaining before returning them to the pot. make sure to leave some bacon bits for the topping!
