“Can I take the rest home?” - my friend when I shared these cookies with them 🍪 “These are my new favourite cookies you’ve made” - my husband, taste testing as soon as they came out of the oven So, I made a second batch of the easiest chocolate chip cookies and filmed it for you!!! My only regret is not breaking one in half for you sooner when filming this… They are so ooey gooey and delicious fresh from the oven, but still so soft and mouth-watering delicious after cooling for a bit 🤤 Chocolate Chip Cookies 1 1/4 cups all purpose flour, spooned and leveled 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp baking powder 3/4 tsp salt 1/2 tsp fine espresso powder 1 tsp cinnamon 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted and cooled 1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed 1/3 cup granulated sugar 2 tsp pure vanilla extract 1 large egg 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips Directions 1. Preheat the oven to 350F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. 2. In a medium sized bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, espresso powder and cinnamon. Set aside. 3. In a large mixing bowl, add the melted and cooled butter, brown sugar, and sugar. Whisk to combine into a paste. 4. Whisk in the egg and vanilla until smooth. 5. Pour in the dry ingredients and use a rubber spatula to fold to combine. Leave a few streaks of flour and pour in the chocolate chips. Continue to fold the dough until the chocolate chips are dispersed and the flour is completely blended in. Take care not to over mix. 6. Scoop 6 cookies onto the baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes (10 for a more gooey cookie, 12 more a more well done cookie). 7. Transfer to a cooling rack and enjoy some while still warm Enjoy! 🫶🏻🤍 no chill chocolate chip cookies | hand mix recipe LTKcanada LTKhome
