DIY AGED BRASS MIRROR 🪞✨

dusted off my old vanity mirror and turned it into this aged brass looking masterpiece using only @rustoleumca spray paint and @amacobrent rub n buff!

this vintage @ikeacanada mirror is super heavy and really felt like good quality, but the colour just wasn’t working for where I envisioned it! I tried thrifting and even looking in stores but the price tags were STEEEEP and defs didn’t compare in quality! so I figured I could do this simple DIY and transform this old mirror into an aged brass mirror on a budget!!! defs anthropologie inspired ✨✨✨

I said it! my sister got me a bunch of @hatchgal goodies for my last pregnancy, and honestly this is one of my absolute FAVS! not only does it smell delicious, but it dries quickly (so you don’t have to walk around all greasy) but hydrates SO well! I literally have zero stretch marks! 🎀

✧ pregnancy book: I read a lot of books during my first pregnancy, but none deserves a mention more than nurture by @ericachidi. written by a birth and postpartum doula, this book truly lives up to its title of being a modern guide to pregnancy, birth, early motherhood and trusting yourself and your body! I actually heard about this book through @kalynnicholson13! I love that it also includes diy remedies, recipes, meditations, journal prompts — you name it! 🤎

✧ raspberry leaf tea: as we’re approaching my due date, I’ll definitely be making my daily @tradmedicinals tea! red raspberry leaf tea helps reduce nausea, aids in labour & delivery, strengthens & tones your uterus and reduces the risk of postpartum hemorrhage! pro tip: if you’re not a fan of the taste, simply add in some lemon or honey! I like to keep mine in the fridge as an iced tea! 🌿
