Today will be a light leftover day while I start prepping for our Thanksgiving tomorrow. Brunch will be the leftover mushroom gruyère quiche and dinner will be the leftover creamy chicken poblano soup. A pelican was enjoying its time on the lake this morning (see stories) and it reminded me why I love the Gulf Coast so much. Last night we had a tornado watch which is one of my least favorite parts of living here. The contrast always makes me smile a little. Calm lake mornings and wild weather nights. I will post a reel for our soup later today, I will catch some Thanksgiving happenings in my stories tomorrow, and I will be back on Thursday to share my leftover ideas. What are you having today?
