The turkey is thawing in the refrigerator and it is just under five pounds. Since Chad has a twenty four hour shift on Thursday, our Thanksgiving will be on Wednesday. I want to rub it down with butter and herbs and let it sit overnight before it goes in the oven. It already feels like a short week. It is the first Monday of Thanksgiving break, so brunch is fend for yourself. Cereal, toast, eggs, oatmeal, a bagel. You pick it. You make it. Everyone seems happy with the freedom of it. Dinner will be my easy no leftover stovetop tuna noodle casserole. It is simple and always hits the spot without creating a mountain of dishes. We had concessions at the theater yesterday and had no room after the soup for dinner, so Lily and I will make the holiday bark this afternoon. I am excited for us to try it. What are you having today? I hope your Monday feels gentle and easy. Gracefully yours, đ«¶đ» Jeanie Jo LTKdayinmylife LTKHome LTKfoodie
