Q&A with Peggy // How do you keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty? Many of my local clients started as friends or neighbors—or came to me because someone I know recommended me to a friend, colleague, or person in their wider network. My business has always grown through relationships, which means I often stay connected with clients long after their projects wrap. If a lampshade breaks or they need help finding someone to professionally clean their sofa, I’m always happy to jump in. When someone knows you personally, or trusts you because of a friend’s recommendation, the stakes feel higher. But I honestly wouldn’t have it any other way. I make it a priority to ensure every detail is right and every issue is fully resolved. I want my clients to feel truly cared for, not just during their project, but long after. Word of mouth has been the foundation of my business from the beginning. The greatest compliment is when clients return for another project or recommend me to someone they care about, and I’m proud that so many have also become lasting friends.
