Still wearing Winter hues, but I am so ready so switch it up ready for Spring. It’s during the change of seasons that there’s enormous pressure to shop for a whole new wardrobe. They’ll be talk of “must haves” and “trending colours” and the temptation will be real. As a Personal Stylist the best advice I can give you is to start with what you already have in your wardrobe. Throw open those cupboard doors and have a review of what you already have and love. Make a note of any gaps, any items you have too many of and create a shopping list from there. But only if it’s necessary. You’ll be surprised by what you already own, I’m sure It’s easy to be sucked in to what the “fashion girlies” are wearing for the new season, but don’t be. Ask yourself, do you actually like it? I mean really like it? Does it work for your colouring, body shape and lifestyle. Is it your style? How much wear will you get from it? Is it a worthwhile purchase? Answer these questions and work with what you have, and I promise it’ll make a huge impact. www.clarewatkins.com personal styling - women’s styling - women’s stylist - styling - style inspo - personal stylist - personal shopper - style inspiration - image consultant - style coach - stylist - fashion stylist - wardrobe stylist - style advice - style inspiration . . . . . . clarewatkinspersonalstyling styleadvice styletips stylisttips tipsfromastylist
