Slow mornings by the sea, wandering the walled city in the heat, and chasing golden hour from the ramparts with the Caribbean breeze wrapping around me.

Wearing one of my favorite Agua Bendita pieces — feminine, romantic, and made for destinations like this — paired with my Eric Javits hat that somehow makes every walk feel cinematic.

Cartagena feels like color, history, music drifting through the streets, and sunsets that make you pause mid-sentence. I didn’t come here to rush. I came to feel everything.

Cartagena, Day 7.

Our last day started slow with lunch at Texas Restaurante, one more long meal before saying goodbye to the city. Afterward we walked back into the Walled City to catch one final sunset — the kind that makes the old stone walls glow and the whole sky turn gold.

We took our time wandering the streets again, knowing it was the last stroll through the plazas and colorful corners that had become so familiar over the week.

Dinner at Carta Ajena was the perfect final meal, and we ended the night back in Getsemaní, soaking up the music, the murals, and the energy of the neighborhood one last time.

Cartagena gave us seven unforgettable days — history, color, music, ocean, and the kind of magic that lingers long after you leave.

Quiet beach mornings are my favorite kind of luxury.
Salt air, a good book, and a red bikini that understood the assignment.

This whole look came with me to Cartagena and somehow ended up being the one I reached for the most. Easy, effortless, and perfect for long afternoons by the water.

Cartagena, Day 6.

Today we traded the city streets for the sea. A speedboat ride out to the Rosario Islands, the water turning that impossible Caribbean blue the farther we went.

We spent the day at Blue Apple Beach Resort — swimming, lounging, and doing absolutely nothing except watching the ocean sparkle in the sun. One of those days where time kind of disappears.

The ride back was just as magical, catching the sunset from the speedboat as the sky turned gold over the water.

And to finish the day, dinner at El Sombrero Osteria, still salty from the sea and not quite ready for the trip to end.

Cartagena gave us the city and the islands — the best of both worlds.

Day 4 & 5 in Cartagena ✨
Colorful streets, late dinners, and boutique wandering through the walled city.

Day 4 I wore my red Farm Rio maxi exploring Getsemaní and dinner in the old city. The print felt perfect against all the murals and colonial balconies.

Day 5 was all about designer shopping and slow wandering through Cartagena’s boutiques. I found some incredible Latin American designers and linked my favorite pieces here.

Everything I wore and loved from these two days is linked on my LTK.

#LTKootd #LTKTravel #LTKdayinmylife
Days 4 & 5 in Cartagena were all about slowing down and soaking in the rhythm of the city.

We spent most of our time wandering between the walled city and Getsemaní, stopping for long lunches, boutique shopping, murals, and sunset drinks. Cartagena is the kind of place where you don’t need a strict plan — the magic is just walking the streets and seeing what you find.

One afternoon we explored the colorful murals and music-filled plazas of Getsemaní before dinner at Don Juan and an evening in Plaza de la Trinidad. The next day we took things slower, strolling through the historic center, stopping for coffee, and popping into the beautiful designer boutiques hidden behind the colonial doors.

The weather is hot and humid this time of year, so I leaned into lightweight Caribbean dresses that still felt polished enough for dinner and evenings out. Easy pieces you can wear all day from sightseeing to cocktails.

Linking the outfits I wore during Days 4 & 5 in Cartagena here if you’re planning a trip or looking for warm-weather travel pieces that work from day to night. 🌺

Everything is linked in this post.

Cartagena, Day 5.

We started the day exploring Manga, a quieter neighborhood where the pace slows down and you get to see a different side of the city. From there we headed to Morena for lunch — one of those spots where you linger a little longer than planned.

Afterward we wandered back through Getsemaní, soaking up the murals, music, and color that make the neighborhood feel so alive.

And like most evenings in Cartagena, the night ended with another long stroll through the warm streets, letting the city unfold one block at a time.

Five days in and Cartagena still feels like it’s revealing something new around every corner.

Day 4 in Cartagena ❤️
I packed this red FARM Rio maxi because it feels like the Caribbean — bold color, floral print, and the kind of flowy silhouette that works from morning exploring to dinner by the water. One of those dresses that instantly looks styled the moment you put it on.

Cartagena, Day 4.

Lunch at La Cevichería to start the day — fresh seafood, cold drinks, and that perfect Cartagena sunshine. From there we wandered over to Casa La Denunciación, soaking up a little more of the city’s history before drifting back toward Getsemaní for an afternoon stroll.

As the sun started dropping, the whole neighborhood lit up. Sunset in Getsemaní hits different — music in the streets, murals glowing in the golden light, people spilling out of cafés and bars. A couple drinks later and we were walking through Centro Histórico, letting the night pull us from one beautiful street to the next.

Dinner at Don Juan was the perfect end to the evening, and of course the night wrapped up where so many Cartagena nights do — sitting in Plaza de la Trinidad, watching the city buzz around us.

Cartagena nights are something special.

The walled city is honestly a dream if you love color, architecture, and boutique shopping. I spent the day wandering past places like Silvia Tcherassi, getting lost in the streets of Getsemaní, and ending the evening watching the sunset over the Caribbean at Baluarte.

Sharing all the outfits from the trip — the tropical print dress I wore exploring murals, the sun hat that saved me in the Cartagena heat, and a few easy black dresses that work for dinner in the old city.

If you missed the posts while I was traveling, everything is linked here so you can catch up. These are the pieces I packed and actually wore walking the city all day and going out at night.

Cartagena style tip: lightweight dresses, breathable fabrics, and a good sun hat are essential. The heat and humidity are real but the city is too beautiful not to wander for hours.

Cartagena, Day 3.

Started the morning wandering through Getsemaní, coffee in hand, watching the neighborhood slowly wake up. Murals, music, little cafés opening their doors — it feels like the creative heart of the city.

From there we climbed up to Castillo de San Felipe de Barajas, and standing on those old stone walls you really feel the history of this place. The views over Cartagena are unreal.

We circled back to Getsemaní for a long lunch at Casa Túnel, one of those hidden spots you’d walk right past if someone didn’t tell you about it.

Dinner at Carmen that night was incredible — easily one of the best meals of the trip — and of course we ended the night the way Cartagena seems to demand… wandering the glowing streets of the Walled City again.

Three days in and I’m already not ready to leave.

Cartagena Day 2 🌺

Beach walk in Bocagrande, wandering Plaza Santo Domingo, and sunset at El Baluarte in this Agua Bendita floral maxi.
Day 2 in Cartagena felt like the city slowly revealing itself to us.

We started the morning walking along Bocagrande, watching the Caribbean roll in while the city woke up around us. By the afternoon we were back inside the Walled City, wandering into Plaza Santo Domingo where the streets feel like an open-air museum — music, art, colors everywhere.

And somehow we ended up back on the walls for sunset again… because once you see Cartagena from El Baluarte, it’s impossible not to come back. The sky turns pink, the breeze picks up, and the whole city glows.

We finished the night getting lost in the cobblestone streets of the Walled City, the kind of wandering that makes you fall a little more in love with a place.

Cartagena really knows how to hold you.

The dress I wore my first night in Cartagena 🌺

This off-shoulder FARM Rio maxi was perfect for wandering the Walled City at sunset.
Cartagena, Day One.

We landed, dropped our bags, and did the only thing that felt right — walked straight toward the old walls. The air was warm, the streets were glowing that golden Caribbean pink, and every corner felt like stepping into another century.

By sunset we made it up to El Baluarte, perched on top of the historic walls with music floating through the air and the skyline lighting up behind us. Rum cocktails, ocean breeze, and the kind of view that makes you pause for a second and realize… yeah, this trip is going to be special.

Cartagena already has my heart. ❤️

A quiet little moment in Cartagena 🤍

Trying on this Johanna Ortiz dress inside the boutique in the walled city felt like stepping into a love letter to Latin American femininity. The textures, the silhouette, the craftsmanship — everything about it felt romantic, timeless, and deeply intentional.

There’s something magical about finding a piece exactly where it belongs… warm air, soft light, old stone streets waiting just outside the door.

Cartagena has a way of making you slow down, fall in love, and dress like the main character while you do it.

Sharing similar romantic minis and vacation pieces perfect for golden hour walks and candlelit dinners.

Boutique wandering through Cartagena’s walled city and finding the dress 🤍
This Juan D Dios piece felt like sunshine stitched into linen — soft, feminine, and made for slow afternoons behind centuries-old walls.

Somewhere between history, ocean air, and a fitting room mirror… I fell in love with Cartagena.

#LTKgrwm #LTKootd #LTKTravel
Because we started the day a little late, we missed most of our Old City walking tour — but Cartagena had better plans for us.

We made it to El Baluarte just barely before sunset and it ended up being the most magical introduction to the city. A cabana bar perched on top of the historic walls, live music drifting through the air, ocean views on one side and the glowing Old City on the other… pure Cartagena romance.

Cocktails in hand, warm breeze, and then fireworks lighting up the sky right above us. We’re choosing to believe they were staged as our official welcome. Let me be delusional in peace.

Wearing my colorful FarmRio dress that feels made for Caribbean sunsets, and Marcelo looking effortlessly handsome in his UNTuckit shirt — the kind of night you wish you could bottle forever.

Cartagena, you already have my heart.

Corset top, tailored trousers, flats I can actually walk in, and that quiet confidence that only shows up right before the night begins. No plans over-explained, no rush to get there — just getting dressed, pouring one drink, and letting the evening decide who we become after sunset. 🍸🖤
A night in Chinatown that turned into one of those nights ✨
Wandering lantern-lit streets, chasing a perfect pastry, sipping something strong, laughing louder than planned, and letting the city carry us from stop to stop. Chinatown after dark always feels like a little time warp—old souls, neon glow, unexpected magic.

These are the nights I tuck away. Unplanned, unpolished, unforgettable. 🌙🏮
