Viral dressing upgrade!
Ingredients:
2 T maple syrup or honey
2 T champagne vinegar
2 T olive oil
2 T avocado oil mayo
2 T Dijon mustard
1 T toasted sesame oil

Shake it up and enjoy!! Great on salads, but I use it on roasted veggies the most often because my kids devour their veggies when I add this! So good on roasted brussel sprouts!

Mullein tincture is traditionally used for respiratory issues, such as coughs, bronchitis, and asthma, due to its expectorant and anti-inflammatory properties. It may also be applied topically to soothe skin irritations and promote healing of wounds

To make mullein tincture, fill a clean glass jar ¾ full with freshly harvested mullein leaves, then cover the leaves completely with vodka or Everclear (40-60% alcohol). Seal the jar and let it sit in a cool, dark place for about one month, shaking it occasionally before straining and storing it in a dark bottle.

How to use:
Mullein tincture can be taken in small doses, typically 1-2 dropperfuls, to support respiratory health. Always consult with a healthcare provider before starting any new herbal remedy. Not medical advice.

My daily protein smoothie that tastes like a strawberry shake!!

Ingredients:
- 2-3 scoops @perfectsupplements Strawberries and Cream protein powder. Use code: REALFOODRN
- 1 spoonful @wondercow Vanilla Colostrum. Use code: REALFOODRN
- 1-2 cups L. Reuteri yogurt
- handful of ice
- handful of frozen strawberries

Blend to the consistency you like. If you want it thicker, add more ice. Less thick, add a little water. Drink immediately or it will melt. Enjoy! So good!!!

Easy Plum Jelly!
- 6 cups plum juice
- 6 cups sugar
- 1 package Pomona’s Pectin
- 1 Tbsp butter (to reduce foam)

Combine ingredients and boil, stirring frequently. Rolling boil of at least 220*F. Then pour into sterilized jars. Wipe rims. Place flats and bands to finger tight. Water bath can for 5 minutes. Allow to cool for 24 hours on your countertop before storing in a cool, dry place. Lasts for several years on the shelf!

A great nature made cough syrup: wild cherry bark cough syrup. Fill a jar with cherry bark, top it off with vodka or everclear. Let sit for 3 weeks in a dark spot. Strain. Add equal parts honey. Bring to a simmer for 5 minutes to cook off the alcohol. Bottle up. Use as needed for cough. 1 tsp at a time. Not to be given to babies under one year. Store in a glass jar in a cabinet. Got eggs? Good think they store well! Farm fresh, unwashed: 3 weeks on the counter. Farm fresh washed eggs: up to 5 weeks. Freeze dried (you need a freeze drying machine) if stored in an airtight container with an oxygen absorber they can last up to 25 years! L Reuteri Yogurt. Gut healing yogurt!!

L. Reuteri Yogurt Recipe:

-,4 cups whole milk, ultra pasteurized
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 2 Tbsp yogurt from previous batch

Mix well in a large jar, cover, warm at 98-102* for 36 hours. Place in fridge after fermenting to set.

First batch:
- crush 10 BioGaiaGastrus tablets, add 1 Tbsp inulin or potato starch
- add 4 cups milk and 1/4 cup heavy cream
- follow above directions

Cistus Tea has been in use to help prevent ticks from attaching to dogs and humans! Not only are we finding less ticks on us after time out in the woods, but those we do find are not attached! Like synthetic repellants, tick-repellant plants deter ticks and insects with their natural smell. These plants contain bioactive compounds that produce a fragrance that irritates the ticks. While the smell of the tea is pleasant to us, ticks are extremely sensitive to the smell and tend to stay away. By consuming it we emit this smell.

Cistus Incanus grows in the dry, arid, harsh climate of the Mediterranean. The plant protects itself by increasing its levels of polyphenols, powerful constituents that fight oxidative stress, and free-radical damage. It is loaded with bioactive compounds, including bioflavonoids, polyphenols, catechins, rutin, proanthocyanadins, and gallic acid – these keep ticks, mosquitos, and other insects away.

Homemade breakfast sausage seasoning blend:

All spices need to be dried, because they are blended up in a blender.

1/3 cup salt
1/8 cup garlic powder
1/3 cup sage
1/4 cup parsley
1/8 cup black pepper
1/8 cup oregano
1/8 cup coriander
1/8 cup thyme
1/8 cup nutritional yeast
1 Tbsp red pepper flakes (optional, add to your taste preference)

Blend until it’s a fine powder. Store in an airtight container, it lasts for months on the shelf! Use 1 Tbsp per pound of meat. Add a little maple syrup to make it a maple breakfast sausage.

Healthy “Jello Jigglers” recipe that will have your kids begging for more. Seriously, this will now be your full-time job 😜 Commtnh “link” and I’ll send you a link to the grass-fed gelatin that I love and the super cute molds that we used.

Ingredients:
- 3 cups organic orange juice
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 3 Tbsp + 1 tsp grass-fed gelatin

Directions:
- Add one cup juice to a medium bowl and sprinkle on the gelatin, do not stir
- Allow gelatin to “bloom” (this means it soaks up the liquid and becomes hydrated)
- Meanwhile, simmer two cups of juice over medium heat. Do not boil
- Pour hot juice over gelain and whisk until there are no more lumps
- Stir in the whipping cream and pour the mixture into molds
- Place miolds on a cookie sheet and put into the fridge to set, it takes about an hour
- Enjoy! 🐣
