My kids said these were one of the best meals I’ve ever made—and they took less than 30 minutes! These easy chopped cheese burgers are loaded with seasoned ground beef, sautéed peppers and onions, melted pepper jack cheese and homemade burger sauce, all served on toasted hot honey garlic brioche rolls. 🙌🏽 Save this easy 30-minute weeknight dinner and shop the kitchen tools I used below! For the chopped cheese burgers: • 1–2 lbs ground beef • 6 brioche rolls • 1–2 cups chopped bell peppers and onions • 1 packet Goya Sazón per pound of ground beef • Burger seasoning, garlic powder and onion powder, to taste • Worcestershire sauce, to taste • 8 slices pepper jack cheese • Shredded lettuce • Sliced tomatoes For the burger sauce: • ¼ cup ketchup • ¼ cup mayonnaise • ¼ cup mustard • 2 tbsp sweet relish • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce • ½ tsp garlic powder • ½ tsp smoked paprika For the hot honey garlic butter: • 1 stick butter, melted • 1 tbsp Mike’s Hot Honey • 1 tsp garlic paste • ½ tsp buttery garlic pepper seasoning—or garlic powder, black pepper and a pinch of salt • ½ tsp thyme • ½ tsp rosemary • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley Add a little oil, the bell peppers and onions to a flat-top griddle. Season with burger seasoning and cook until softened. Brown the ground beef, then season with garlic powder, onion powder, burger seasoning and Sazón. Mix in the peppers and onions, add Worcestershire sauce, then top with pepper jack cheese and allow it to melt. Combine the garlic butter ingredients, spread over the brioche rolls and toast them on the griddle until golden. Mix the sauce ingredients. Spread the sauce on the toasted rolls, then layer with lettuce, sliced tomatoes and the cheesy beef. Finish with more sauce, wrap, slice and enjoy! choppedcheese choppedcheeseburger burgerrecipe weeknightdinner familydinner easymeals 30minutemeals groundbeefrecipes griddlerecipes dinnerideas LTKHome LTKHome LTKfoodie LTKmomlife
