Happy National Hot Dog Day! 🌭 There’s no better way to celebrate the occasion than by making these delicious BLT Hot Dogs 🥓🥬🍅 This dish couldn't be easier to make and it’s one of my favorite ways to give a classic hot dog a fun summer twist. And of course, I had to serve them on my Hot Dog Plates! They're one of my favorite pieces for summer entertaining because they're dishwasher safe, come in so many fun patterns, and are perfect for everything from corn on the cob to banana splits. Check out this recipe, my Hot Dog Plates, and my favorite summer set below!

BLT Hot Dogs

Ingredients:
-4 hot dogs
-4 hot dog buns
-4 slices of bacon
-1 medium tomato, diced
-1/2 head of iceberg lettuce, thinly shredded
-2 tablespoons mayo, drizzled on top

Directions:
1. Cook the hot dogs on the grill or stovetop until heated through.
2. Wrap each hot dog with a slice of bacon.
3. Cook over medium heat, turning occasionally, until the bacon is browned and crispy on all sides.
4. While the bacon cooks, dice 1 medium tomato and shred ½ head of iceberg lettuce.
5. Place each bacon wrapped hot dog in a bun, drizzle with mayonnaise, then top with the shredded lettuce and diced tomatoes. Serve immediately and enjoy!

My new favorite summer appetizer is here! 😋 These Prosciutto Caprese Cups take everything I love about a classic Caprese salad and turn it into the most delicious bite-sized snack. They’d be the perfect addition to your Fourth of July spread, they’re easy to customize with your favorite toppings, and they’re so good you'll be making them all season long! Check out the recipe below and shop my patriotic look for the Fourth! ☀️🇺🇸

Prosciutto Caprese Cups

Ingredients:
-8oz of prosciutto
-sugar bomb cherry tomatoes
-mozzarella pearls
-fresh basil, sliced into ribbons
-a dash of dried parsley
-a dash of dried oregano
-balsamic glaze, both drizzled in the Caprese salad and on top of the Prosciutto Cups

Directions:
-Start by assembling your Caprese salad. Slice your cherry tomatoes in half, add in your mozzarella pearls, and slice your basil into ribbons. Then add in a dash of dried oregano and a dash of dried oregano. Drizzle balsamic glaze on top and toss salad together.
-Set oven to 400 degrees for the prosciutto cups.
-Place pieces of prosciutto in a muffin pan and fold the edges into the center to create cups. Bake for 10-11 minutes or until prosciutto looks crispy. Take out of the oven and let cool for 10 minutes so the prosciutto can harden.
-Once they’ve cooled off, add your prosciutto cups to a plate and add your Caprese salad into it.
-Top with balsamic glaze and enjoy!

If you love a loaded baked potato like me, you need to try this recipe! 🥔🧀 These Loaded Hash Browns are great to make when you want something delicious without spending hours in the kitchen. This crispy appetizer is easy to customize, comes together in just a few ingredients, and will be such a hit with guests! 😋

Loaded Hash Browns

Ingredients:
-1 package of frozen hash brown patties
-1/2 cup dill dip
-1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
-1/2 cup sour cream
-2 green onions, thinly sliced
-optional: 4 slices of bacon, cooked until crispy and diced

Directions
1. Bake the hash brown patties according to the package directions until golden brown and crispy.
2. Spread about 1 tablespoon sour cream over each hash brown patty.
3. Sprinkle the cheddar cheese evenly over the top of the hash browns (about 1½ tablespoons per patty).
4. Set oven temperature to 400°F and return the hash browns to the oven for 7–10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
5. Remove from the oven and sprinkle the diced bacon evenly over the melted cheese.
6. Add a dollop of the dill dip (about 2 teaspoons per patty) and sprinkle sliced green onions and bacon (if making a non-vegetarian version) on top.
7. Serve while warm and enjoy!

Today is National Iced Tea Day and I’m celebrating the best way I know how - with a refreshing batch of iced tea and the cutest summer pitchers and drinkware to serve it in! The colorful patterns and seasonal designs are perfect for bringing a little extra  charm to your to your summer beverages 😎 And if you're looking for a fun recipe to make for the occasion, my Watermelon Sun Tea recipe on the website is one of my favorite summer drinks! 🍉☀️Check out everything you need to celebrate National Iced Tea Day, from these fun drinkware options to my Watermelon Sun Tea recipe!

Watermelon Sun Tea Recipe

Yield: 1 gallon

EQUIPMENT
    •    1 gallon drink dispenser
    •    A sharp knife
    •    A cutting board

INGREDIENTS
    •    4 cups fresh watermelon with the rind removed
    •    12 tea bags, I used black tea and removed the tag before steeping.
    •    12 cups filtered water
    •    Fresh mint for garnish
    •    Simple syrup (optional)

DIRECTIONS
    1    Start by cutting watermelon into large chunks and making sure the rind is completely removed.
    2    Add the tea bags (with tags removed) to a 1-gallon drink dispenser to steep.
    3    Next, add 12 cups of filtered water and the 4 cups of cubed watermelon to the drink dispenser.
    4    Seal the drink dispenser and take it outdoors to a sunny location.
    5    Let the tea steep out in the sun for 2 hours.
    6    After steeping, use a pair of tongs to take the tea bags out of the dispenser. Serve over ice with fresh mint. If you like sweet tea add simple syrup to your liking.
    7    Refrigerate any left over tea. (Be sure to enjoy it in the next few days for best freshness.)

Start with my Silicone Muffin Pan Set! 🫐🍳 These @stevedossqvc Blueberry Protein Muffins and delicious Egg Bites are two of my favorite recipes to make in these pans because they're healthy, quick to prep, and are great to have when you need breakfast or a snack throughout the week.

Steve Doss’s Protein Blueberry Muffins

Yields 12 muffins

Ingredients
-1-1.5 cups of fresh blueberries
-2 cups protein baking mix
-3/4 cups Greek yogurt
-3/4 cup milk of choice
-1/2 cup brown sugar
-1/4 cup melted butter
-1 egg
-1 tsp cinnamon
-1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
-Preheat oven to 350 degrees
-Spray muffin pan with cooking spray
-Pour muffin mix in evenly
-Bake for 18-20 minutes

Egg Bites

Yields 6 Egg Bites

Ingredients
-8 large eggs
-1 cup full-fat cottage cheese
-cooking spray
-1/2 tsp kosher salt
-Add in your favorite ingredients like shredded cheddar cheese, chopped veggies, bacon, sausage, etc.

Instructions
-Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
-Spray muffin pan with cooking spray.
-Combine eggs, cottage cheese, and salt in a blender for about 40 seconds, until smooth.
-Pour egg mixture in evenly.
-Bake for 22-25 minutes until lightly golden browned. Let rest for 5 minutes before removing from tray.
