Yes, you can have homemade hamburger buns on the table in 30 minutes, and once you make them you will never go back to store bought. They're soft, pillowy, and so much easier than you'd think.

The trick to getting them done this fast is having the right tools ready to go. My KitchenAid stand mixer does all the work of mixing and kneading the dough, so you're not stuck kneading by hand. From there it's just shape, a quick rise, and bake.

A few of my favorite tips for these buns: 🍔 Use 2 tablespoons of Red Star yeast for a reliable, fast rise. Get a 2lb bag of yeast and store it in a freezer safe container in the freezer and it will last for years 🍔 Line your metal baking sheets with parchment paper for zero sticking and easy cleanup 🍔 A bench scraper makes dividing the dough quick and even, and it's perfect for cleaning your counter after 🍔 Good bread flour gives these buns their soft, sturdy texture

Steak prices are no joke right now, and the last thing you want after spending that kind of money at the grocery store is to overcook your steaks. We learned a long time ago that guessing is never worth the risk.

We use two thermometers when we grill steaks. A wireless internal thermometer monitors the temperature the whole time they’re on the grill, and then right before we pull them off we do a final check with our ThermoWorks Thermopop instant read thermometer.
