I know everyone says the years are short, but lately… the days have felt extra long 😌🙃😅

This has been my favorite little afternoon pick-me-up. It’s naturally sweet, packed with fiber and greens, and gives me the boost I need to finish the day. It’s also my go-to right before my period since cacao is a natural source of iron.

You’ll need:
•½ cup milk of choice (I usually use oat milk)
•1 tablespoon chia pudding (mix chia seeds and your milk of choice in a 1:2 ratio and let it sit overnight)
•1 cup spinach
•1 ripe banana
•½ tablespoon unsweetened cacao powder
•¼–½ tablespoon maple syrup
•¼ cup ice
•½ tablespoon nut butter of choice (I use unsalted almond butter)

Blend everything until smooth and enjoy. Hope you give it a try!

Unintentionally did a mini pantry cleanout thanks to an opened box of Cheerios.

Here are my quick tips for keeping your pantry organized, accessible, and easy to maintain:

1. Use clear containers so you can easily see what you have. It helps prevent overbuying and keeps everything looking tidy.
2. Remove unnecessary packaging whenever possible to reduce bulk and maximize space.
3. Trim excess packaging as you use products. It takes up less room and instantly makes your pantry look cleaner and more organized.

Small changes like these make it so much easier to keep your pantry functional without spending hours organizing. It’s not about having a Pinterest-perfect pantry—it’s about creating a system that’s easy to maintain for your family!
Playroom Reset Part I

Summer has been a lot with all 3 girls home and each needing something different. The constant noise (mostly crying and fighting 😅) definitely gets overwhelming, and I’ve been trying my best to juggle it all without letting mom anger take over.

What helps me? Resetting the house.

And somehow, the stars aligned… two kids were at camp, my youngest decided to nap, and I got 1.5 hours to clean. Seeing less mess instantly helps me breathe and feel calmer.

I can’t wait to finish this space and display all the summer projects we’re working on together.

Stay tuned for Part II… hopefully coming very soon!

#girlmom through and through 🥹 If you were thinking of getting dollhouses or pretend play dolls, here are my takeaways:

1. they really have to LOVE pretend play/Barbie for it to be worth the money + space (having a sibling or playmate definitely helps)

2. you don’t need all the accessories — Facebook Marketplace or hand-me-downs are perfect, they don’t use everything at once anyway

3. I don’t recommend the cheap Barbie clothes (esp from Amazon)… they rip so easily and come with way too many tiny shoes that don’t fit half the dolls - get the original clothing when they go on sale

4. avoid bath time / dunking them in water — learned this the hard way… mold is not the vibe

5. Target Barbie sales are the best, so I just keep them in my cart and check out when they go on promo and save them for birthdays and Christmas

anyways… I guess I also work part-time at the Dream House now.
As we were cleaning up after hosting our new community here in VA, our hearts felt so full.

Two years ago, when we moved here, we never imagined we’d meet these people — doing life together, raising our kids together, sharing meals, faith, and memories.

Making friends in your 30s is hard, especially with a partner and kids involved. But it’s also been such a hopeful season — a reminder that there are still good people trying to do good in the world.

Through the ups and downs of friendships, I’m learning to let go of unrealistic expectations and pride, while becoming more aware of my own capacity, weaknesses, and strengths.

Maybe meaningful community isn’t built by being everything to everyone, but by consistently showing up, as you are, for the people meant for this season of life.
There were too many times I blew up the inflatable pool, wrestled everyone into swimsuits, put sunscreen on… just for them to say “I’m done” 10 minutes later 🤪

So now I make “bubble whip cream” with dish soap + water and have them wash their crocs 😂 somehow this keeps them outside playing forever and honestly makes the whole water play setup feel worth it.

These food-grade silicone bottle brushes have made my bottle washing routine so much easier.

Why I love them:
• dishwasher safe = no more worrying about mold
• flexible but sturdy enough for shaped straws
• comes in a set of 3 and cute colors

Such a small swap, but it made a big difference for me.

You know when 2:48pm hits and you need something to power up for your second shift till bedtime? This was my meal choice today and honestly… perfect combo.

If I had time, I would’ve made sweet potato cheese balls and fried them, but with only 20 minutes left of their car nap, I turned it into a cheesy savory pancake instead. The roasted sweet potatoes gave it natural sweetness, the fresh cabbage added the perfect crunch, and paired with my @buldak_global ramen… exactly what I needed.

In about 4.5 months, all three of my babies will walk out the door to school at the same time. I’ll have a 3rd grader, a kindergartener, and a preschooler. And for the first time in 11 years, I’ll come home to an empty house.

For the first time in over a decade, I’ll be able to grocery shop alone, go to a doctor’s appointment without coordinating schedules, sit down for lunch on time, and hear the sound of stillness inside my own home.

The days were long, and at times lonely, but they were also so full. Full of little hands, messes, laughter, interruptions, exhaustion, cuddles, and moments I wouldn’t trade for anything.

So this summer, I’m planning the best one yet with my tiny crew. Because while I know I’ll deeply miss the season of always having a baby at home, I’m also ready for what’s next. Ready for a new season of motherhood. Ready to meet Jenny in it too.
Teacher Appreciation Week is coming, and I wanted to take the time to pick gifts they would truly use and appreciate. I quickly realized cute gift bags are so expensive, so I was way too happy to find these $4.99 cooler bags instead. Practical, cute, and something they can actually reuse. It is sized to fit 4 cans.

✨How I made 3 kimchis in under 3 hours (and kept my sanity)✨
1. Wash everything first
Get it all done upfront so you’re not running back to the sink mid-chaos.

2. Chop + prep ALL ingredients
Cutting board needs to be used and gone to make space.

3. Batch your sauces
Use separate bowls for each kimchi, but make them at the same time. They all use similar ingredients anyway → less back and forth, less mess, more efficiency.

4. Clean as you go (non-negotiable)
Wipe, rinse, reset after each step. Especially because cabbage kimchi takes up SO much space… and clutter = instant overwhelm.

5. Work in the right order
→ perilla leaves first (no salting)
→ cucumber kimchi next (quick salt)
→ cabbage kimchi last (the main character, high maintenance)

Knock out the easy ones, store them away, then go all in on the big one. Ajumma efficiency unlocked 👌🏻
Garlicky, Slightly Spicy Tomato Oil 🍅✨

I rarely finish my grape tomatoes in time… they always end up wrinkly, a little mushy, and honestly—I lose interest. But what started as a quick “let me not waste these” experiment turned into a must-have in our home.

I love that you can give older tomatoes a little glow-up and turn them into something so flavorful—and something that actually lasts longer in the fridge without going bad.

We use this for everything:
pasta (think aglio e olio vibes), eggs in the morning, avocado toast, even quesadillas. And yes—my kids are obsessed too.

Ingredients
• About-to-go grape or cherry tomatoes
• Organic extra virgin olive oil (enough to fully drench the tomatoes)
• Salt, to taste
• 1–2 tbsp crushed garlic
• Crushed red pepper flakes (optional, but highly recommend for a little kick)

Instructions
1. On low–medium heat, add your olive oil and tomatoes. Cook for about 5 minutes.
2. Add salt and red pepper flakes, then cook for another 3 minutes.
3. Stir in the garlic and cook for 5 more minutes, until the tomatoes are soft, jammy, and easily crushed.
4. Let it cool completely, then store in the fridge.

Hope you try it! I personally love making the pasta (add some protein of your choice) 🫶🏻
I did it, guys. Took out every single piece of clothing my 3 girls own — hand-me-downs, outgrown sizes, in-season, out-of-season… ALL of it.

5+ hours later and every bin is organized, relabeled, and ready for the seasons ahead. Also passed on 2 big bags of clothes to a friend + donated 3 bags of gently loved pieces. Nothing better than clearing space and blessing others too.

I tried to link as much as I could from this chaotic masterpiece. Comment “LINK” and I’ll send over most things I shared in this vid 🫶🏻
✨5 Simple Steps I Follow When Cleaning Our Playroom✨
1. Start by moving and organizing the big items first
2. Make one big pile in the middle (This helps me focus on one task at a time instead of cleaning as I go and bouncing between spaces)
3. Stick to one area at a time so you don’t get distracted
4. Bring empty bins to sort the pile and put things away as each bin fills up
5. Skip the labels (Yes… I tried the pretty labels from Etsy/Amazon, but kids don’t follow them—and it just turns into random stuff in random bins, which adds more stress)

The laughter and the little jumps reminded me why we try our best every day. We found these rechargeable ride-on cars that actually mop the floor, and it quickly turned into a full family race with the Mario Kart song playing in the background.

The next morning I heard their footsteps running out early to ride them again, and my mama heart felt it all. Making childhood magical for them… while healing parts of mine along the way. Parenthood is really something else.

This one is honestly worth the hype and I love it so much. It vacuums, washes, and steam cleans at the same time, so it actually deep cleans instead of just pushing dirt around.

A few things I love about it:
• High-temperature steam helps break down sticky messes and grease
• Smart sensor automatically adjusts suction and water depending on how dirty the floor is
• Lays completely flat so you can clean under beds and furniture
• Self-cleans and dries itself so you don’t have to deal with the gross parts after

Basically it’s one of those things that makes everyday life easier — especially with kids and messy floors.

80° in VA today… Snow tomorrow. So obviously I thought it was the perfect day to set up a cloud dough sensory station for the kids until…

It ended with:
✔️ cornstarch footprints across the house
✔️ me mopping every floor
✔️ questioning my life choices

10/10 messy fun. Not sure I recommend… but if you’re brave:

Good luck. You’ll need it.
Mom Guilt. The fear of “Did I just ruin her childhood?” rushed through me. The fear that now she won’t feel safe with me, especially as she enters her teenage years. Why can’t I control my anger?

The thoughts went on and on… and then I snapped out of it, remembering that I can make it right.

After school, my daughter rushed into my arms and told me she missed me so much—and I just burst into tears. What am I, to receive this kind of love?

I’m so humbled by their love, and grateful that I had the chance to make it right and apologize.
These shelves have completely elevated the space while keeping it functional for my kids (ages 2–8).

Solid wood. Rounded and smoothly sanded for safety. A beautiful, natural tone that works with everything. They hold so many books and toys, and I love how easily I can switch things up—whether it’s decor or toy rotation. They’ve made everything more accessible for the kids… and honestly, I would use these for myself too.

The best part? They’re both under $90 right now. Montessori-style furniture with a smart price tag.

Turned this blank wall into the backpack station of my dreams — practical for busy mornings, but versatile enough to switch up whenever our needs change. Because if it doesn’t flow with the house… it’s not staying.

I used peel & stick acoustic panels from my fave @feltrightproducts (Tangent Latte Organizer). I love that they help absorb sound and protect my walls from getting dirty from backpacks. Plus, they add the prettiest texture and instantly warm up the space.

Comment “panels” and I can send you a discount link 🫶🏻

Paired it with the Wall Hook Rack from @ikeausa (HÖVOLM) to keep it simple, sturdy, and functional.

Now everything has a home and I finally filled up this blank space with something that I love.
