There’s just something about taking the “basic” pieces in your closet and layering them in a way that makes you feel cute, comfortable, and a little more put together. 🤎

Why I waited so long to share this project….

In all honesty, I’m still in shock that this project is happening. I’ve been dreaming about this happening for over 10 years.😱

But I didn’t want to share about it quite yet because…

1.) I didn’t want to get my hopes up / I wanted to keep my expectations low 😝something I’ve been working on for a loooonnnggg time 😬

2.) I didn’t want to come across like I was bragging. I understand what this project projects and I never want people to feel like “we have it all.” We’ve worked hard over the last decade to do a project like this and this isn’t a luxury we take for granted!

3.) A pool adds very little resale value to your home. Guy and I have been doing the real estate business for 11 years and we understand how the market works…pools don’t typically make sense from a profitability standpoint and we’ve just had to become ok with that.

Being a content creator, there’s always this rush to dip into the next season before the one you’re in has even begun to close.

It can feel like you’re missing out on earning opportunities and potential. You feel it from every angle: Reels, Stories, Carousels, Trial Reels, TikTok, YouTube, newsletter subscribers…

But when I look at moments like this, all I want to do is relish the season I’m in. All I want to do is slow down the clock.

I don’t know about you, but I’m learning how to be a content creator who can still make a living doing this (because I truly love it) while also slowing down and remembering what’s most important.

I wasn’t meant to be a walking, talking billboard every second of my life. I’m allowed to love the moments happening right in front of me and share those too.

It doesn’t matter if brands don’t like it or if those moments don’t perform as well. I hope this gives you permission too.
