There’s just something about taking the “basic” pieces in your closet and layering them in a way that makes you feel cute, comfortable, and a little more put together. 🤎

I think athletic wear gets a bad rep for feeling too casual sometimes, but honestly? A good pair of athletic shorts, an oversized pullover, a fitted tank, and some chunky gold jewelry can make you feel surprisingly elevated while still being comfortable enough to live real life in.

Why I waited so long to share this project….

In all honesty, I’m still in shock that this project is happening. I’ve been dreaming about this happening for over 10 years.😱

But I didn’t want to share about it quite yet because…

1.) I didn’t want to get my hopes up / I wanted to keep my expectations low 😝something I’ve been working on for a loooonnnggg time 😬

2.) I didn’t want to come across like I was bragging. I understand what this project projects and I never want people to feel like “we have it all.” We’ve worked hard over the last decade to do a project like this and this isn’t a luxury we take for granted!

3.) A pool adds very little resale value to your home. Guy and I have been doing the real estate business for 11 years and we understand how the market works…pools don’t typically make sense from a profitability standpoint and we’ve just had to become ok with that.

Being a content creator, there’s always this rush to dip into the next season before the one you’re in has even begun to close.

But when I look at moments like this, all I want to do is relish the season I’m in. All I want to do is slow down the clock.

I don’t know about you, but I’m learning how to be a content creator who can still make a living doing this (because I truly love it) while also slowing down and remembering what’s most important.
