Why I waited so long to share this project….

In all honesty, I’m still in shock that this project is happening. I’ve been dreaming about this happening for over 10 years.😱

But I didn’t want to share about it quite yet because…

1.) I didn’t want to get my hopes up / I wanted to keep my expectations low 😝something I’ve been working on for a loooonnnggg time 😬

2.) I didn’t want to come across like I was bragging. I understand what this project projects and I never want people to feel like “we have it all.” We’ve worked hard over the last decade to do a project like this and this isn’t a luxury we take for granted!

3.) A pool adds very little resale value to your home. Guy and I have been doing the real estate business for 11 years and we understand how the market works…pools don’t typically make sense from a profitability standpoint and we’ve just had to become ok with that.

For years, I just assumed not being “regular” was normal.

I’d go days without feeling like my digestion was working the way it should. I was constantly bloated, uncomfortable, and honestly just accepted that it was part of being an adult.

Then, about two months ago, I made one small change that has made a surprisingly big difference: I started adding 1 tablespoon of chia seeds to my oatmeal every single morning.

Combined with the fiber already found in oats, it’s become one of the easiest ways I’ve found to support my digestion. Since making it part of my morning routine, I’ve been consistently regular, my bloating has improved, and I simply feel better.

Of course, this wasn’t the only change I made while working on healing my gut, but it’s one habit that’s been incredibly easy to stick with and one I’ll continue long after my healing journey.
