There is no place like home. 🏡 Regardless of how long you have been away, you can always find comfort in being with your people.🙏 In today’s world, sometimes we find our people via online interactions. Those who have the same experiences as we do, others who struggle with the same concerns we have, the invisible illnesses that so many of us share and the sense of style or similar body shape that unites us often take on very meaningful connections. I’ve been spending time IRL with people I LOVE and have a long history with but I also got to spend time IRL with Lipedema Ladies who I have a special connection to because we share all the trials and tribulations this disease Lipedema brings. We have so many common threads yet I find that my besties are navigating invisible health challenges, too and it makes me realize that Women’s Health Matters are all too often overlooked. For a while, I have been working toward a project that will bring so many of us together.
