(Trips to the bathroom, too many layers and pat downs by airport security are reasons I choose dresses instead of pants when traveling.) I wear 15-20mmhz type medical grade compression to have just enough compression but not too much to keep swelling at bay. Shoes are always slip one flats so I can navigate my route easily and take off my shoes quickly if necessary. Limited jewelry makes it easy to get through security, as well.
