I said I wanted a less sweaty hobby and somehow ended up playing tennis 🥲 But being on the court reminded me how many of us millennials were raised to be serious early. Responsible. Practical. Always preparing for the next thing. Idk..hobbies stopped feeling necessary and started feeling optional. I used to play tennis 🎾 when I was a kid and coming back to it reminded me that joy doesn’t have to be earned. Using your free will, it can just be chosen.
