Some days, the grief is heavier than the 18-pound vest. But walking helps. Moving helps. Healing takes motion. This isn’t just a fitness challenge — it’s a challenge to stay grounded through trauma, through rebuilding, through becoming whole again. Started walking on December 6th. 6–8 miles daily. Bikram yoga 3x/week. Strength training 3x/week. All while raising kids, going to school full time at UC Berkeley, and building The Souza Foundation — a place for other women to heal, too. This is what healing looks like in real life. No filters. Just movement. And mission.
