💛I went from 176 lbs to 136 lbs, but this journey has been about so much more than weight loss. Walking with a weighted vest became my way to heal, to process trauma, and to remind myself that I’m stronger than anything I’ve carried. 💛The vest helps burn more calories, builds strength with every step, and improves posture and endurance — but for me, the biggest benefit has been mental. Moving my body gave me space to release stress, rebuild confidence, and create a healthy outlet while navigating the hardest moments of my life. 💛That’s why I’m building The Souza Foundation — a safe place where women and children can begin their own healing journeys after surviving domestic violence.
