There are so many projects that can be done on a budget. I believe that you can live well on a budget, in order to do that, one must be resourceful and creative. My husband took on the organizational task of organizing our spices several months ago. He spent less than $50 building this spice rack behind our pantry door. It took some time, and we were willing to trade that in order to achieve the result we wanted without having to spend lots more hiring someone else to do this. On the other hand, within the next year, we will be hiring someone to grade our backyard and install a proper drainage system. This task is not a strength of mine, or my husband’s, so we will happily interview several landscape specialists, and budget for this project. With most DIY projects nowadays, you can google or youtube how to do them, and have success doing DIY projects with the proper resources. My favorite DIY is the Pottery Barn look-a-like daybed that my husband made in our playroom! It’s beautiful! Do you DIY? If you do, what’s your favorite project you have done? Our next small project: Organizing our fridge with Eco-friendly containers! I can’t wait . . . . .
