Comment “Recipe” for a link I feel like this is a parent hack and I’m not sure why haven’t made these before. My kids could easily eat chicken nuggets everyday of the week if I let them so why not make them at home easily made with simple clean ingredients? These are so great for meal prep and SO crispy and delicious 🤤 1 lbs ground chicken 5 tbsp milk
1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs 1 tsp garlic seasoning 1 tsp salt 1/2 tsp black pepper Optional: 1 or 2 tbsp of honey (makes them a bit sweeter which kids loves) 🍯 1 egg 3 Tablespoons melted butter Breading: 1 cup panko bread crumbs 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese 1. add milk and breadcrumbs to a bowl, let sit for a minute before adding seasoning. 2. In a different bowl, add ground chicken and add milk mix. Mix everything using your hands. Scoop out about 1 tbsp and shape into nuggets. It helps a LOT it you wet your hands when shaping them. 3. In a bowl, whisk one egg. On a plate, mix 1 cup of breadcrumbs and cheese. 4. Brush each nugget with the whisked egg and then coat with breading mix. 5. Melt 1.5 tbsp of butter and brush each top side of nugget with the butter. 6. Bake in oven at 375F for 8 minutes. Remove from oven and brush with remaining 1.5 tbsp of butter, both sides of the nuggets. 7. Bake for another 7 minutes. Broil on high for 1 minute.
